Electrical Installation Condition Reports-EICR carried out, Pierce Electric is registered on the Private Rented Sector Scheme- PRS.
Electrical Installation Certificates -EIC issued where required, Portable Appliance Testing-PAT services.
Rewiring – new installation of electrical circuits
Replacement of aged cables such as VIR, damaged cables, or unsuitable cables with new BASEC approved twin and earth cables which conform to BS6004
Consumer unit replacement
Replacement of old re-wireable fuses and consumer units with new high integrity units with rcds and rcbos conforming to BS7671 17th edition.
Light replacement
We carry out replacement of standard light fittings with modern led fittings, fire rated recessed lights and suitable bathroom lighting.
Socket replacement
Replacement of broken or aged sockets with new chrome, brass or anti bacterial white sockets and even sockets incorporating usb charging ports.
Switch replacement
Upgrades of old or damaged switches with dimmer switches,remote control switches or metallic finishes.
Cooker installation
The installation (and supply if required) of new or replacement cookers. We dispose of the old unit if necessary too.
Electric shower installation
Working together with qualified plumbers, we supply and install electric showers and necessary switching and cabling.
Repair & installation of storage heaters
Repair or replacement of existing storage heaters, subject to asbestos assessment.
Garden lighting
We design and install garden lighting to ensure an efficient display. We can provide timed or remote systems and photocell applications.
Smoke alarms & heat detectors
Fire alarm detection equipment can be supplied and installed in accordance with BS5839. Wireless detectors can be installed in existing properties to minimise disruption.
Earthing & bonding
We upgrade the earthing system and associated cabling to ensure the most important cable in your property is adequate.We then carry out specific tests to ensure correct operation of protective devices.
Electrical fault finding
We specialise in fault finding, having the required test equipment to do so. We offer an emergency callout service 365 days a year.
